How I Get ENOUGH Protein

Getting enough protein isn’t always easy, especially for us carb lovers 🍝 But girl, if you’re chasing those fitness, health, or performance goals, protein is a must-have on your plate.

Here’s how I do it:

  • Lean Meats for the Win: Including a source of meat with every meal changed my lifeeee. I started adding turkey rashers, chicken sausages, and even trying new stuff at breakfast—it made hitting my protein targets sooo much easier. Plus, you’ll feel fuller for longer, trust me!

  • Switch It Up: If you’re tired of chicken, swap it for some low-fat beef mince. Keep it fun with different seasonings, and don’t forget, fish can be a tasty phase too! My current obsessions: well-seasoned turkey breasts and 5% fat beef mince.

  • Snack Smarter: It’s easy to fall short on protein if you’re reaching for snacks that don’t pack a punch. Aim for at least 10g of protein per snack—think Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, or a protein smoothie. Eggs or egg whites are great too!

  • Make It Enjoyable: Protein doesn’t have to mean chicken, broccoli, and rice every day. My fave dessert is my Ninja Creami choc protein ice cream—if you follow me on YT, you already know this obsession 😍.

  • Balance is Key: Don’t overdo it on protein at the expense of carbs. Your body can only digest so much protein at once, and you need those carbs for energy, especially if your workouts are intense!
